Hey, guys! I'm sorry for not posting since the beggining of August, but I'm back :) and today, I will show you the books that I read this summer.
In less than one year, I will have the first exams in my life, so this year we're all going to do our best in Romanian and Math. That's why, this summer, I had to read more than I used to.
First, we had a few little... stories (less than 80 pages), all written by romanian authors, like Mihail Sadoveanu and I.L. Caragiale.
I had to read a book of poetry, thing that I didn't like at all, because I'm not a romantic and sensitive person, and I read some boring poems :(
I also read "Uncle Tom's Cabin" by Harriet Beecher. I love this book! It was amazing, and it may be one of my favorites books, even if it has a very, very sad ending. I definitely recommend you reading it :)
This summer, I read my first love book, because, as I said, I am not romantic, and it was nice... it is about a young boy... he's in high-school, that is in love with a married woman, and, yeah, many things happen... It it written by Ion Minulescu.
Another book that I read was "My life with Saddam Hussein", by Parisoula Lampsos, which is an autobiography. I really liked this book, and I read the 500 pages in less than... 4 days!
I read two books from a local magazine, that were nice, and easy to read :) The series is called "The Ashleys", and it is written by Melissa de la Cruz. They were very nice, and I enjoyed reading those books.
And the last book I read is called.... FRANKENSTEIN!! It is an awesome, awesome, awesome book!! It is probably the best book I read this year. You must read it!! You won't regret, I promise. I recently saw the movie, and it was dissapointing :( It doesn't even matches the book... You shouldn't watch it, because the book is 100 times better.
So, those are the books that I read until now, but I have one more book to read, and 10 days until the first day of school, and I think I 'll be able to finish my homework :)
I hope you enjoyed this post, and stay tuned on U.C.Me!! Bye, XOXO!
Hey, guys! So, since it's VERY hot outside, me and my friends didn't hang out anymore, as we used to do, but that's a reason to post more often, so this is why I am writing this post, though yesterday I wrote another one :) The today's post is going to teach you how to make the best vanilla milkshake in the world!!
VANILLA MILKSHAKE First, you need a blender. Then, put in the blender 1 cup or one cup and a half of milk. Cold milk. After that, add a tablespoon of vanilla extract. Add a teaspoon of sugar, and a banana (without the shell, of course). Finally, add two spoons of vanilla ice cream, and turn the blender on. Enjoy it!
CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE Just like at the vanilla milkshake, you'll need a blender. First, pour 2 cups of milk in the blender. Put 2-4 TBS of hot chocolate powder in the blender and mix it well. Then, measure 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream and add this to the blender, and turn it on. Then, you can add some cream, as you can see in the picture below :) Bon apetit!
This was today's post, I hope you enjoyed, and if you tried those recipes, tell me in the comments how it was. Thanks for reading, and stay tuned on U.C.Me fo more yummy things.
Hi, everyone! I am sorry for not posting since July 10th, but I was a little busy. I stayed 3 weeks at the seaside, and one week - a camp, somewhere in the mountains, in Romania, and it was AWESOME, we had a lot of fun. So, for today's post I thought to show you some tips to beat the summer heat, because in Romania, usually, there are more than 40°C (104°F) during summer.
Tip #1 NO HEAT
For your everyday hair routine, try to not use heat. If you want curls, you can use hair rollers, or things like that. Maybe, it won't look the same, but at least, you'll stay cool :) If you wear your hair super straight, you should use an appropriate shampoo, that can keep your hair straight for even 48 hours. But, for everybody, I recommend wearing your hair up, using an ellastic or something!
Tip #2 BRIGHT COLOURS
We all know that dark colours attract the sun, so wearing black is not recommended. The best option is to wear white, and make sure you wear sunglasses and a hat, before you leave your house :)
Tip #3 MAKE UP
During this hot season, all of the make up products that you use should be waterproof, and they should be comfortable. You can use make up remover wipes as often as you want, to cool yourself :)
Tip #3 ALWAYS TAKE A WATER BOTTLE WITH YOU!
So, this was the post for today, I hope my tips will help you, and don't forget to subscribe! Bye, XOXO
Hello, everyone! This is the 30th post on U.C.Me! Yaaaay! So, since my friends weren't here for some days because they went at their relatives, and we couldn't hang out, I went at the mall and I watched a lot of movies. Everyday. So, a few days ago, I have seen Rock of Ages, and I thought to write about it, because it is an awesome movie!
It has some great actors and actresses, including Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta Jones, Paul Giamatti, Alec Baldwin, Mary J. Blige, Russell Brand and Malin Akerman. I have to say Rock of Ages is, in my opinion, one of the best movies that are in theatres right now. Though people say it is a comedy, I would say it is a musical, because there are many songs during the movie.
During the '80s, Sherrie (Julianne Hough) comes from Oklahoma to Los Angeles, where she meets Drew (Diego Boneta). Drew helps her to get a job at The Bourbon Room, which is a very popular nightclub on the Sunset Strip, where Sherrie works as a waitress. Meanwhile, Stacee Jaxx (Tom Cruise), a famous rockstar, resignes from his band called Arsenal. Their last concert as a band is going to be at The Bourbon Room. But, there is no band or player that will sing in Arsenal's opening. Suddenly, Sherrie proposes Drew, and the manager of The Bourbon Room (Alec Baldwin) agrees. Sherrie and Drew were already a couple, since the first days Sherrie worked at the nightclub. At the big night, everybody is at the club, and a reporter from The Rolling Stones magazine (Malin Akerman) takes Stacee Jaxx an interview. After Drew's performance, Stacee's manager (Paul Giamatti) asks Drew to work for him, and, in the end, Drew broke up with Sherrie, and they both quit from The Bourbon Room. Drew is now working with Stacee's manager at his career as a pop star in a band called Z-Guyeezz, and Sherrie is forced to become a stripper. During the whole film, there is a group of women headed by the mayor's wife (Catherine Zeta Jones), who want to close The Bourbon Room, because rock 'n' roll has a bad influence on the kids and teenagers from L.A., but actually everything is personal, because, many years ago, young Stacee Jaxx and the mayor's wife were in love, but he broke up with her, and this is revealed at the end of the movie. After the last show at The Bourbon Room, Stacee's manager left with all the money, even if this wasn't the deal, and Stacee finds out, and he fires his manager. Stacee Jaxx is going to have another big show at The Bourbon Room, and in his opening will perform The Z-Guyeezz, but it seems nobody enjoys their music at the nightclub. After Drew's performance, Sherrie and Drew are again a couple. After the concert, Stacee Jaxx gives all the money to the manager of The Bourbon Room, since the club didn't have money anymore.
In the end of the movie, there is another concert, where Drew, Sherrie and Stacee Jaxx share the same stage, in the same time, and we can also see that the reporter from The Rolling Stones and Stacee Jaxx are a couple, and they are going to have a baby. Happy ending :)
So, this was the movie, I love it, and you should listen to all of the songs that were performed during the film, if you like rock 'n' roll, of course. I hope you enjoyed it and keep watching U.C.Me! Don't forget to subscribe. Bye, XOXO.
Hi, guys! For today's post, I thought to show you some youtube channels and youtube gurus that inspired me, or they are very funny to watch.
The first Youtube guru is Bethany Mota a.k.a. Macbarbie07. She is a beauty guru, and her videos are very useful, and nice. I am her subscriber since 2011, when one of her videos was on the first page on Youtube (the old format). Bethany reached 653.610 subscribers and over 88.000.000 video views. She is also a vloger (bethanyslife channel).
Another Youtube Guru is Jenna Marbles, who is much more famous than Bethany Mota, but I prefer watching Bethany's videos. I found out about Jenna a few years ago, when her video was, also, on the first page on Youtube. The video is called How To Make Awesome Pet Names, and it has more than 7.000.000 views. Jenna is considered the number 1 female on Youtube.
Another popular couple of Youtube gurus is Kalel Cullen and Anthony Padilla. Anthony is one of the two creators of Smosh, which is a Youtube channel with almost 5.000.000 subscribers. Kalel had a Youtube channel called queenbeeuty, but in March 2012, she uploaded a video that said that she won't upload any videos anymore as queenbeuuty :( But, fortunately, she created a new channel called cozplai, where she uploads videos with her cosplays (Cosplay, short for "costume play", is a type of performance art in which participants don costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea. Favorite sources include manga and anime.) She is still a vloger, but not on the queenbeeuty channel, but on the cozplaisensei channel.
Another Youtube Channel that I enjoy watching is Awesomeness TV, which is a brand new network on Youtube, and it has a lot of shows, and my favourite is IMO, where some girls talk about many subjects that teen girls like, including fashion, beauty etc. The hosts are Bethany Mota, Gracie Dzienny, Daniella Monet, Audrey Whitby, Meaghan Dowling and a few other girls, but they change every week, only Gracie, Bethany and Meaghan were in all the episodes, but I am not sure.
The last Youtube channel, but not the least, is Ray William Johnson! He has almost 5.500.000 subscribers and more than 1.000.000.000 video views!! How awesome is that?!
So, this was the post for today! Thank you for reading it and stay tuned on U.C.Me. We hope you enjoyed this post, and it helped you. Bye, XOXO.
Hey, everyone! I just realised that our lasts post are all in the same. . . areas, like movies, fashion and beauty, so this is why today's post will be a little different, but not a brand new kind of post, because we did this kind of top 10 songs a month ago, but since I wasn't very . . . into music the last months, this week I will post only a top 8. Sorry. So, let's go ahead and get started!
#8 Flo Rida - Whistle
#7 Coldplay - Princess of China feat. Rihanna
#6 Pitbull - Back In Time
#5 Katy Perry - Wide Awake
#4 Kelly Clarkson - Dark Side
#3 Maroon 5 - One More Night
#2 Fun. - We Are Young feat. Janelle Monáe
#1 One Direction - I want
#1 I know this song is quite old, and probably many of you already knew about it (that's why I also added the video of the 2nd song in the list), and they don't like it as much as me, because I know there are a lot of people who don't like One Direction. I am their newest fan, so I just heard that song, a few weeks ago, and since that moment, it is my favourite. I passed through a big obsession with 1D, and now I discover the songs that are not that famous, like "I Want", which, obviousely, is not as famous as "What Makes You Beautiful", or "One Thing".
#2 "We Are Young" is one of the coolest modern songs I''ve ever heard, because it really is music. You MUST listen to it, and if you appreciate music, you will like this song.
#3 As I said it before, there were some months in my life, when I listened ONLY to Maroon 5, so now I know all of their songs. This period ended, but I am still a fan, so I knew about this song, which is awesome, and the video is even more awesome.
#4 Kelly Clarkson's songs always make me . . . I don't know, more mature, I guess. After "What doesn't kill you'', this is her 2nd hit.
#8 I knew about "Whistle" since I did the last top, but I didn't include it in the top, because I just discovered it, and I couldn't say it is one of my favourites, but since that post, I watched how that song is getting more and more famous, so I included it in the top, also.
So, this was the post for today. I hope you enjoyed it, and keep reading U.C.Me!! Bye, guys!
Hi, everyone! So, as we told you, we are going to post more often, because of the summer holiday, so today we have a new post for you, which, as you can see in the title, is about the movie "Snow White and The Huntsman".
I recently saw it at the cinema and I liked it very much, which is the reason why I am writing this post, but it isn't that kind of movie that adults enjoy watching, though I thought it was awesome. As you may already know, Kristen Stewart is starring in this movie, in the role of Snow White.
Basically, the story is the same, but there are a few different things. At the beggining, it is completely the same: A very kind queen, beloved by the whole village has a little girl (Snow White), but unfortunately, she dies and everybody is very sad. The king is also devastated, but he will marry another woman (The evil step-mother). Now, the story changes, the second wife kills the king, but in the original story, he just died, so now the kingdom is leaded by Snow White's step mother, the evil queen. Then, it comes another difference: the queen closes Snow White (who grew up and now she is played by Kristen Stewart) in the highest tower in the palace. After that, we can see that the queen stayed young by . . . "feeding" with preety girls' beauty, which was kind of weird. When the mirror tells her that Snow White is more beautiful than her, she ordered her brother to bring the girl to her. But Snow White found a weapon (I am not sure what it was, but it looked like a nail), and she escaped from the kingdom. Then, she ran away for a long time, until she got tired, I guess, and she remained in the Dark Forest. Meanwhile, the queen was getting uglier and older, and she hired a hunter who knew the Dark Forest to catch her and bring her back to the palace, in exchange, she promised she will bring his dead wife back to life. When the hunter, the queen's brother and other soldiers found Snow White, the hunter asked where is his wife, and the queen's brother was laughing, and he told him how stupid he was when he thought that someone can bring his wife back to life, so the hunter got angry and he fighted with those guys, and finally, he and Snow White ran out of the forest. After that, they met a quite big group of dwarfs, that became their friends, and they were trying to get to the kingdom of king Hammond (I'm not sure if this was his name) , which was the main plan of Snow White when she ran away. After many other things, the queen gave her the poisoned apple, and only the true love could bring her back to life (even if nobody said that). The end of the movie is SO unexpected!! I was sure about something (which I won't tell you), but it turned out totally different than I thought!
In conclusion, the movie was great, I totally recommend you to see it, because it is very cool!
So, this was the post for today, we hope you enjoyed it and, if you liked the point of the movie, you will see it. Thanks for reading the post! Bye, guys!! XOXO
Hey, guys! Sorry for not posting since May, but we were a little busy with the end of the school, and we have one more week until the summer holiday, when, hopefully, we will post more often. So, for today's post, we will show you some tips for summer, that we hope will help you!
Tip #1 Add a belt!
Belt were not made only to hold your jeans. You can wear it many different ways, especially with a skirt or a dress, because it is summer! In the third picture, you can see Marion Cotillard wearing a very cute peach colored dress, with a metallic golden narrow belt, which emphasizes her waist and makes her look slimer.
Tip #2 Try an office look!
Being office is the last summer trend. For this look, you should try pencil-skirts, high heels, a shirt or an office T-shirt, and you should braid your hair, or just keep it up with an elastic. The main idea is bright colors, but not harsh, like baby pink, light blue, mint green and peach-color.
Tip #3 Wear dresses!
I was not a fan of wearing dresses with no occasion, because I thought dresses are too festive for hanging out, but since I bought an amazing dress, which doesn't makes me feel like that, I started to enjoy wearing dresses and I will buy more dresses for the summer, because I have only two or three :)
Tip #4 Eat salad!
The weather is very hot, so nobody wants to eat steak, or any other roasted food, so you MUST try salads, because they are not only very healthy, but they are soooooo yummy!!! During summer, I would eat only salad and ice-cream...
So, this was the post for today! We hope that you enjoyed it and it helped you for the summer. Stay tuned on U.C.Me! Bye!
Hi, guys! Sorry for the last post, but I had no idea about what to post, last week. So, I have recently seen MIB3, which is the short form of Man In Black III, and it was amaaaazing, so this is what the post is going to be about :)
Agent J (Will Smith) and Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) are working at a very secret company, which was made to protect the Earth by aliens, I guess, and other creepy creatures. Actually, the movie begins with the escape from the jail of Boris the Animal, who is one of that creepy creatures, helped by his girlfriend (Nicole Scherzinger), and he comes back on Earth, where J and K have to do their jobs and kill him or send him to the jail, again. But the mission fails, and J finds out that K and Boris had a conflict, in 1969. Meanwhile, Boris turns back in time, and kills K, so tomorrow, at the MIB company, everybody, except for J, knows that K passed away in 1969. J finds about Boris's plan and he turns back in time, too, to kill Boris, and save K.
So, he turns back in time and he mets K, who is young and funny, but he has to tell K what . . . will happen, even if the plan was different. After that, a lot of things happen, but, (of course), there is a happy-ending :)
The movie is VERY funny! I totally recommend you this movie, because it is very cool.
As you may heard, the soundtrack of the movie is singed by Pitbull, and the song is nice, I liked it more after I saw the movie.
So, this was the post for today, we hope you enjoyed it and keep reading U.C.Me!!! Bye XOXO
Hey, guys! For today's post, we thought to show you some trends for this summer.
The first trend is pink dresses. They are feminine and young, but not so elegant. For shoes, you should definitely try high heels.
One more kind of dress is the long white dress, which was accesoried with belts by Malin Akerman and Claire Danes. It has a very deep, daring V-neck, and it should be weared with sandals or with the cork shoes you saw in the last post ;)
A pair of leather shorts is an edgy skirt substitute and it looks good with any T-shirt or sweater. Miranda Kerr and Lauren Conrad already tried this trend, and they got only thumbs ups from the fashion critics.
Go nude with a top and trousers in skin tone-flattering neutral shades, like Rosie Huntington and Heidi Klum. This outfit would be very useful, because pants are always more comfortable then shirts and dresses, and it also very feminine and cute.
Don't forget, summer is a crazy season, so you should be daring in your outfits: you should try colours, dresses, skirts, colorful patterns and things like this, but don't dress too . . . funky, because you don't want to look weird. The idea is: try to not wear only jeans and a white T-shirt or something.
This was the post for today, we hope you enjoyed it and stay tuned on U.C.Me! Bye :)
Hi, everyone! For today's post, we thought to give you some ideas for shoes this spring/summer.
A lot of brands, came up with cork shoes. They're very feminine and cute, but not very elegant. You can wear this kind of shoes at many occasions, so they're useful and also pretty. Although the pattern in the photo is very . . . fresh and alive, you can try neutral colours, to match your outfits. :)
There is a new kind of . . . sneakers (I'm not sure how to call them) which are very nice, and comfortable. I recommend you to try bright colours because the weather is sunny, so people should dress a little more colorful! I couldn't find a photo of them, but you can find them in stores like New Yorker.
Everyone seems to wear the same kind of ballet-flats, with a little bow in the front, that became a little boring. If you don't want to wear heels, you should wear something different than ballet-flats, like those . . . moccasins you can see in the pictures below, because they are a little different, but still chic and elegant. You have the pictures for two kinds of moccasins, because we thought the reddish ones could be a little childish for some of you, so you can see the cream ones, which are a little more mature.
Sandals were made for summer and for hot weather. The models of the sandals are getting more and more complicated and full of straps, zippers and jewels. In the photo there is a model from the 5th Avenue Collection by Halle Berry.
This was the post for today, we hope you enjoyed it and it helped you. Stay tuned on U.C.Me! Bye! XOXO
Hey! For today's post, we're going to show you a top 10 songs of the last moth. So, let's get started!
#10 Bella Thorne and Zendaya - Something to dance for/TTYLXOX
#9 Rihanna - Where have you been
#8 Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull - Dance again
#7 Shakira - Addicted to you
#6 Train - Drive by
#5 Jessie J feat. David Guetta - Laserlight
#4 Carly Rae Jepsen - Call me maybe
#3 Katy Perry - Part of me
#2 Maroon 5 feat. Wiz Khalifa - Payphone
#1 Flo Rida feat. Sia - Wild ones
This is my #1, but I don't love it that much as I usually love my favourite song, at the moment. Maybe that's why it was such a hard decission for this top: because they're preety close one to another. So, this is a great song, and if you didn't listen to it until now, which is quite impossible, you should definitely do.
#2 - I am a BIG fan of Maroon 5, since I was little, and they were all so young. I still am a fan, and I love this song. It doesn't have a video yet, but I can't wait to see it. The actual lyric video is really cool. "Payphone" is a MUST listen!!!
#4 - "Call me maybe" it's an awesome song, and probably it would be in top 3, but I didn't have enough time to listen to it. By the way, I never heard before about Carly Rae Jepsen.
#6 - If you didn't hear about "Train" until now, you should know that they are the guys who sing "Hey, soul sister"... <3 that song, and it is in top 100 on youtube, also.
#8 - J Lo is back! The video for her new song, ”Dance again” was filmed with her boyfriend, Casper Smart. For more informations, you should check our post about Jennifer Lopez's new boyfriend! :)
#10 - I like Bella and Zendaya, and this song also, more than I liked their last song, "Watch me". For the ones who don't know, the song has three parts: the first one is Zendaya's Something to dance for, the second one is Bella's TTYLXOX (which means >>Talk to you later, hugs and kisses<<), and the third one is a mash up of those two songs, which is a little crazy. Beetween those two songs, my favourite would be Bella's. Oh, and the video is very . . . sparkly!
So, this was it. I hope you enjoyed this post and you will listen to those songs, if you don't know them. Stay tuned on U.C.Me!! Bye! XOXO
Hi, everyone! There is one month of Spring left, may, so we thought to show you Carolina Herrera's spring collection for women 2012. We chose her collection because we think it is very cool, colorfull, lively and also chic and elegant. So, let's get it started!
The spring 2012 collection stands out the modernity of lines and the fluidity of soft silhouettes, functional cuts, subtle folds and embroidery details that evoke the aesthetics of some artistic moves of the 1920s. The color palette takes its cue from the trays of the ”Antebellum Bakelite” bangles, combining geometric lines with sparrow prints in comflower blue, canary yellow, red and grass green. Carolina Herrera New York Eyewear and CH Carolina Herrera Matryoshka Handbag in canary yellow, red and black with piping details complete the silhouette.
We chose two favourite outfits (hard decission), which you can see in the photos below.
We chose this dress because of its interesting colours, canary yellow and grass green, the lower side, which is very feminin, the cute belts, the nice bracelets and the finished look, in spite of the 'waves' from the lower side. This outfit totally matches the rest of the collection because of the colours, the patterns and the materials that were used for creating this dress. It is wearable, but only at very special occasions, because of the upper side of the dress is a little transparent and because of the TOO chic and elegant look.
The second look that we chose is this medium-long dress. We liked the colours, black, white and red, which match very well. The black and white lines are vertical, not horizontal, which makes the sillhouette look taller and slimer. The red belt brings colour to the dress. The purse is also chic and well matched. The sunglasses are also very cool. It is a little harder for you to see the little cut in the front of the dress, at the model's knees, which we think it is very elegant, like that kind of office skirts that have the same little cut. We would definitely buy that dress.
So, we hope you enjoyed this post, and stay tuned on U.C.Me. Bye, XOXO!
Hey, guys! This summer, in Romania, there are going to be a lot of concerts. Lady Gaga and Red Hot Chili Peppers are the most famous artists/bands who will come here. We are not big fans of RHCP, but we <3 Lady Gaga's songs.
Lady Gaga announced on her Twitter page that she will concert in Romania, on August 16th. The tour called "Born this way ball" will start on April 27th, in Korea, and it will end on October 6th, in Spain.
The concert in Romania is going to be on the National Arena. The lowest price of a ticket will be 130 RON, which means 43$, and the highest one will be 495 RON, which means 165$.
The tickets will start to be sell on April 27th.
This is the first time when Mother Monster comes to Romania, so we all are very excited about the concert.
About the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert, all we know is that it is going to be on 31st of August, also on the National Arena. The prices are the same as they are at the Lady Gaga concert. All the tickets were sold, but we don't regret this.
So, we hope you enjoyed this post and it helped you. We would love to go to the Lady Gaga concert, but we're not sure if we will go. Bye! XOXO
For more informations about the "Born this way Ball" tour and much more, check out Lady Gaga's official site, www.ladygaga.com.

Hey, guys! Everybody knows that teenagers don't enjoy reading as much as their parents would want, so we thought to show you some books which we think you will like.
One of our favourite authours is Agatha Christie a.k.a. "The Queen of Crime". Her books keep the reader wonder about who's the killer, but usually the killer is someone that the reader would never guess. Nati-pon reads "The mirror crack'd from side to side", which is about a famous actress who comes in a village, where one of her fans dies, very mysterious. You should read any of her books, because they won't disappoint you.
If you would like to read something more . . . modern and you're bored of vampires and wolves, you should try to read "The invention of Hugo Cabret". If you didn't hear about it before, maybe you heard about the movie "Hugo", directed by Martin Scorsese, which almost got the Oscar for the best movie this year. It is an interesting book because it is 50% written, 50% drawed. You could read it in less than . . . 3-4 days. Nati-pon already read it, and she thinks it is AWESOME.
Another very popular book is "The diary of a wimpy kid", written by Jeff Kinney. For the ones who didn't read it yet, it is a nice book, very easy to read. Maybe your parents won't like you to read it as much as they would like you to read Agatha Christie's books, but it's a beggining ;)
Some teenagers, like Didi-pon, discovered manga, which is the Japanese word for "cartoon". It has some words, but it is not a book. The New York Times made a top of best sellers. It looks like this:
SPICE AND WOLF, VOL. 6, by Isuna Hasekura
POKEMON BLACK AND WHITE, VOL. 6, by Hidenori Kusaka
PANDORA HEARTS, VOL. 9, by Jun Mochizuki
IS THIS A ZOMBIE?, VOL. 1, by Shinichi Kimura
NARUTO, VOL. 55, by Masashi Kishimoto
By the way, if you have seen the movie "The Hunger Games", you should know there is even a book, with the same name, written by Suzzane Collins.
So, this was the today's post, we hope you enjoyed it and it will help you to read something that you'll like. Happy Easter, for the ones who already celebrated it! Bye!
Hi, everyone! This is the first post of this month! It's already April, so the weather became warm (almost hot) and today it was sunny, so we went jogging in a park from Bucharest. That's why we thought to write this post about how to stay fit :)
It's very important to move. You can just walk, which is realxing, you can dance while you're listening a crazy song, you can go jogging, like us, you can ride a bike or jump rope, which really works. A good advice would be "go to the pool", because you stay fit, if you swim, and it's also relaxing and funny. The idea is to not lay at home, probably watching TV.
About what you should eat, there are the same rules. I (Nati-pon) think that the people that talk about this at the TV taught us: vegetables and fruits are good; anything else is evil. But it's not like this. I think people can eat almost anything without to get fatter, as long as they don't eat TOO much. Since tha last summer, I started to eat a lot of salad, especially one kind of salad with little "pieces" of grilled chicken, green salad, some boiled eggs, little pieces of cheese and radishes. You should try it. It's really healthy and it's DELICIOUS! It's probably one of my favourites food ever and i am picky about food.
Even if it's not a part of staying fit, you should respect some rules about how you dress, especially if you're a little fat.
Tip #1 Try to avoid tight things.
Tip #2 Stay away from horizontal stripes.
Tip #3 Wear one-colour dresses, but make sure it has an amazing colour, because people have to look at the colour of the dress, not at your body.
Tip #4 Wear dark colours, especially black, but not completely black.
Tip #5 Try to avoid too long and too short skirts or dresses.
So, this is today's post. We hope you liked it and it helped you to stay fit. Keep reading U.C.Me for more good advices!
Hey, guys!We thought to make another special week about one main subject. This week's subject will be cooking. For this posting, we thought about how to make chocolate chip cookies. Let's get started!
The ingredients you'll need are:
1 cup of butter (800g) (or substitute sunflower oil)
3/4 cup of packed brown sugar
3/4 cup of grounded sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract (optional)
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups of chocolate chips
1 cup of milk
The steps you'll have to follow are:
1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Gently mix these together and then set this bowl aside.
2. In a large bowl, beat the butter, then add the brown sugar and white sugar and mix. Finally, add the vanilla and milk. When those are completely mixed together, add eggs and mix again until completely combined.
3. Slowly add the dry ingredients from the medium-sized bowl to the wet ingredients in the large bowl, mixing until the dry ingredients are totally combined. At this point you should have a moderately thick cookie dough.
This is how it should look until now.
4. Scoop up a golf ball size amount of dough with a spoon and drop in onto a cookie sheet. Leave at least an inch of space between the cookies, because they'll spread out when they cook. You can usually fit 12 cookies on a cookie sheet at a time.
5. Put the cookies in the oven and bake for about 10-14 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and let the cookies rest on the pan for 3-4 minutes.
6. Using a spatula, lift cookies off onto wax paper or a cooling rack. Let cool for about 5 more minutes.
7. Eat and enjoy some with yourself, family or friends!
We really hope you enjoyed this posting and you'll try to make cookies at home. This Friday, we will post another recipe, so stay tuned. Bye! :)
Hello, everyone! Last week-end as you already know was awesome because we went on 2 great concerts. Nati-pon told you how was her concert so now is my turn.
I bought a regular ticket since the VIP ones where sold in the first few days, but the regular ticket wasn't so bad.
The only diffrences were that the VIPs could enter faster than the rest and they could watch the bands as they were practicing for the concert. Yes, I said bands and that because in the opening of PLUNKLOCK there was another band called Monarchy, a romanian rock band that seemed pretty popular.
The concert was supposed to begin at 6pm but from unknown reasons it started at 7:30pm.
We had to spend the time from 6 to 7:30 on the hallways of the building, but thinking back to it I realise that it was actually nice since I got to know a lot of new and interesting people. Monarchy was great, a little bit hard-rock but enjoyable.
Everyone was screaming and I thought that they were super excited, but when PLunklock went on the scene the fans went mad (including me). We were screaming their names and cheering for them...I couldn't even hear the first song because the girls (and a few boys) were shouting really loud AND I was right by the scene. It was crazy!
The members made many fanservices, the bassist(Haruka) and vocalist(Hello) ALMOST kissed, they were all jumping on the stage, feeling the music and the drumer (Pinky) seemed like a Pokemon to me, so childish and happy, just like a Pokemon.
The vocalist also learned a few things in romanian like: I love you, Thank you and Good evening which was cool.
I took a lot of pictures, I mean A LOT!!! And fortunately I managed to get an autograph too. Many people with regular ticket couldn't do it but I sayed *pretty please* and made the famous puppy face and the bodyguard went and took all the autographs for me. Lucky~ The place was still crowded even after the concert ended around 9pm as they were all hoping to get to see the members once more. There were selling CDs as well and I could stop myself from buying one even if was a little pricey.
