Reading~Books That I Read This Summer

Hey, guys! I'm sorry for not posting since the beggining of August, but I'm back :) and today, I will show you the books that I read this summer.

In less than one year, I will have the first exams in my life, so this year we're all going to do our best in Romanian and Math. That's why, this summer, I had to read more than I used to.

First, we had a few little... stories (less than 80 pages), all written by romanian authors, like Mihail Sadoveanu and I.L. Caragiale.
I had to read a book of poetry, thing that I didn't like at all, because I'm not a romantic and sensitive person, and I read some boring poems :(

I also read "Uncle Tom's Cabin" by Harriet Beecher. I love this book! It was amazing, and it may be one of my favorites books, even if it has a very, very sad ending. I definitely recommend you reading it :)
This summer, I read my first love book, because, as I said, I am not romantic, and it was nice... it is about a young boy... he's in high-school, that is in love with a married woman, and, yeah, many things happen...  It it written by Ion Minulescu.
Another book that I read was "My life with Saddam Hussein", by Parisoula Lampsos, which is an autobiography. I really liked this book, and I read the 500 pages in less than... 4 days!
I read two books from a local magazine, that were nice, and easy to read :) The series is called "The Ashleys", and it is written by Melissa de la Cruz. They were very nice, and I enjoyed reading those books.
And the last book I read is called.... FRANKENSTEIN!! It is an awesome, awesome, awesome book!! It is probably the best book I read this year. You must read it!! You won't regret, I promise. I recently saw the movie, and it was dissapointing :( It doesn't even matches the book... You shouldn't watch it, because the book is 100 times better.

So, those are the books that I read until now, but I have one more book to read, and 10 days until the first day of school, and I think I 'll be able to finish my homework :)

I hope you enjoyed this post, and stay tuned on U.C.Me!! Bye, XOXO!

Cooking~Summer Milkshakes :)

Hey, guys! So, since it's VERY hot outside, me and my friends didn't hang out anymore, as we used to do, but that's a reason to post more often, so this is why I am writing this post, though yesterday I wrote another one :) The today's post is going to teach you how to make the best vanilla milkshake in the world!!

VANILLA MILKSHAKE First, you need a blender. Then, put in the blender 1 cup or one cup and a half of milk. Cold milk. After that, add a tablespoon of vanilla extract. Add a teaspoon of sugar, and a banana (without the shell, of course). Finally, add two spoons of vanilla ice cream, and turn the blender on. Enjoy it!

CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE Just like at the vanilla milkshake, you'll need a blender. First, pour 2 cups of milk in the blender. Put 2-4 TBS of hot chocolate powder in the blender and mix it well. Then, measure 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream and add this to the blender, and turn it on. Then, you can add some cream, as you can see in the picture below :)  Bon apetit!

This was today's post, I hope you enjoyed, and if you tried those recipes, tell me in the comments how it was. Thanks for reading, and stay tuned on U.C.Me fo more yummy things.

Beauty~Tips for summer!

Hi, everyone! I am sorry for not posting since July 10th, but I was a little busy. I stayed 3 weeks at the seaside, and one week - a camp, somewhere in the mountains, in Romania, and it was AWESOME, we had a lot of fun. So, for today's post I thought to show you some tips to beat the summer heat, because in Romania, usually, there are more than 40°C (104°F) during summer.

                                                      Tip #1 NO HEAT
For your everyday hair routine, try to not use heat. If you want curls, you can use hair rollers, or things like that. Maybe, it won't look the same, but at least, you'll stay cool :) If you wear your hair super straight, you should use an appropriate shampoo, that can keep your hair straight for even 48 hours.  But, for everybody, I recommend wearing your hair up, using an ellastic or something!

Tip #2 BRIGHT COLOURS
We all know that dark colours attract the sun, so wearing black is not recommended. The best option is to wear white, and make sure you wear sunglasses and a hat, before you leave your house :)

Tip #3 MAKE UP
During this hot season, all of the make up products that you use should be waterproof, and they should be comfortable. You can use make up remover wipes as often as you want, to cool yourself :)

Tip #3 ALWAYS TAKE A WATER BOTTLE WITH YOU!

So, this was the post for today, I hope my tips will help you, and don't forget to subscribe! Bye, XOXO
